Saying goodbye to my Grandmother
These last few years,
Every trip to Bakersfield,
Every time I kissed her and said goodbye,
I knew could be our last...
My heart is full of wonderful memories of our time together.
Awww... sorry to read of this Kris.... but, I am so happy that you knew her and have fond memories to treasure ..
I never got to meet my grandmother...she was in England and we lived in Canada ...too far to travel and too expensive for our family back in the day.....we used to write to her and she sent us little things like English newspapers and some little books... everybody was so poor......
Thanks Vee! I am so thankful for all the time I had with her. I'm glad that it is easier now to keep in touch with family over long distances. Thanks for sharing:)
